Truth: This Week
This week:
* In court documents, Lewis "Scooter" Libby testified that President Bush approved the leak of classified pre-war intelligence about Iraq, and had authorized him to reveal Valerie Plame Wilson's as covert CIA operative (in retaliation for her husband, the ambassador Joseph Wilson refuting the president's State of the Union claim that Iraq had purchased or tried to purchase yellowcake from Niger in the late 1990s). President Bush had previously made it clear that leaks would not be tolerated, and that they would be grounds for dismissal. Will Mr. Bush keep his word?
* Sec. of State Condi Rice admits that the US"made tactical errors, thousands of them I'm sure" in the war in Iraq. Unfortunately, Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld knows nothing about these mistakes. Whose word is truth?
* An early Christian manuscript calls Judas Iscariot a good, willing and favored disciple of Jesus, not the treacherous betrayer. we now know him as. Is the Bible fiction?
